Trying to find out how a PC running on Windows 8 act as Wi-Fi hotspot?

As a part of installing advanced programs into my PC, I have upgraded it to Windows 8. Now, I would like to set it as a Wi-Fi hotspot. What is the procedure for that?

You can set up the hotspot with VirtualRouterPlus program. It is available as free on internet and you can download it into your system. Once the installation process gets completed, launch the program by double clicking on the downloaded file. Then, type the name for the network into the corresponding field and select a secure password having a minimum of eight characters. After that, choose the connection with which you want to share the system and press the ‘Start’ button. You can then check the connection with the phone or tablet. Connect the device to newly created Wi-Fi network and check whether it show up on the system. If not, turn off the connection and start it up again.
