Turning off ‘tap to click’ feature on Windows Vista

I have recently upgraded my laptop to Windows Vista. But, I don’t want to use its ‘tap to click’ feature. Is there any way to disable that feature?

Re: Turning off ‘tap to click’ feature on Windows Vista

As a first step, click on the ‘Start’ button located at the bottom part of the screen and select ‘Control Panel’ from the start menu. This will bring up the ‘Control Panel’ window on the screen. Switch into the classic view of Control Panel. Click on the ‘Mouse’ option and then get into the ‘Device settings’. The next step required is to click on the ‘Settings’ button. Select the ‘tapping heading’ option visible on the screen. After that, clear off the checkbox next to ‘Enable tapping’ option.
