Unable to change the Firewall setting as it displays an error in C:\Windows\system32\firewallSettings.exe

I desperately need the help of you guys. Actually I am not able to change my firewall setting. I never turned my firewall off but something happened which changed everything. Only message which appeared to me once was "Firewall is Off". I tried to change the setting using safe mode as well but nothing worked for me. What should I do to correct this setting?

Re: Unable to change the Firewall setting as it displays an error in C:\Windows\system32\firewallSettings.exe

    Hi,
The simplest interpretation of you trouble is your system has lost an important file needed to run the firewall for internet.

The file firewallSettings.exe is an executable file that resides at system folder under windows software that was installed in your system. The file as its name suggests, helps set the firewall that you are installing and guides it to operate. If and when the supporting executable get missing or corrupted, the focused program fails to act as it doesn`t have the ability to get executed on their own.
So you have to manually get the firewallsettings.exe file from the windows CD or have to download from the net and install it to the path displayed in the error message. or you have to reinstall the window to make it fit again.

    Good luck.
