Unable to create a New Restore Point on Windows 7 System.

Due to some network problem on my Windows 7 computer, I need to restore my computer and as a result I also need to create a new Restore point, but this is not possible on my machine, though there is no error message but the restore points will never create successfully even after changing the date with multiple attempts.

To solve your problem proceed as:
    > go to Control Panel, then to System.
    > In the system properties dialogue box go to System protection tab.
    > In the protection settings box select the drives you want to add a system restore.
    > Click on configure.
    > In the restore settings box, uncheck the option-- turn off system protection, and select another menu and then press OK.
