If you are having plenty of duplicate music files in your windows media player library and want to delete them all then you should rebuild your WMP Database. It should resolve your issue of deleting duplicate files. Follow the procedure:

Step 1: Close all the tabs, that running on your system
Step 2: Go to start and open Run dialogue box
Step 3: Type '%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player' and hit ok
Step 4: Now, select files and click on the delete option under file menu (Don't delete any Folder)
Step 5: Now, restart your Windows Media Player and check the issue

Another method is deleting cache files from Windows Media Player database, Follow the procedure:

Step 1: Close all the tabs and Windows Media player too
Step 2: Go to start and open Run dialogue box
Step 3: Type '%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft' and hit ok
Step 4: Now,select the Media Player folder and click Delete
Step 5: Now, restart Windows Media Player

    hi dere,
    just follow dese easy steps:
Launch Windows Media Player, and navigate to one of the duplicate files you want to delete.

Highlight the duplicate file. For multiple files in consecutive order, hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard and click the first and last files in the list to highlight them all. For multiple files in non-consecutive order, hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and highlight the desired files.

Right-click your files. Select either "Delete from library only" or "Delete from library and my computer," when prompted.

    hope this will work...

    Hi,

In order to delete all files in one go you need to select those files, if they are from a series then select them all by clicking them along with the shift key pressed.

but if they are not in series then you have to select them by picking and clicking with the CTRL key pressed.

once the selection of files are done rigt click on them will offer you a menu from which delete should be selected and the prompt will come "delete all files",

Select "Yes", and you are done.

    Thanks.
