    Regarding this problem..

    before eject your external drive,
you can check all the opened file are closed properly..
    then try to eject...

it may be opened means not possible eject properly..

    better you can check

because any one can affect virus means, not possible to eject properly..
so, scan your system and also external drive once..

    after you can access properly..

    it surely help you..

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say................................

1.Firstly before ejecting any drive try to close all applications.

2.And then try to eject it if still you have the problem.

3.If still you have the problem then it is the problem of your USB drivers.

4.So you make a right click on the 'My Computer'.

5.Then you click on 'Manage' and then click on 'Device Manager'.

6.And then open properties of 'USB Root Hub' and then Update Drivers of it.

    Have a nice day.................................
