Few days back, I have upgraded my laptop to Windows 7. I tried to install Google Chrome into it and the installation process failed in the middle. In what way can I install it successfully?

As a first step, click the ‘Start’ button and find out ‘Start Search box’ from the start menu. Type msconfig into that start search box and hit the ‘Enter’ key on the keyboard. You will be prompted for administrator password or confirmation afterwards. Type in the password or click the ‘Continue’ button at this time. Press the ‘General’ tab available on the screen and click on the ‘Selective Startup’ option. Clear off the check box appear next to ‘Load Startup Items’ option pop up on the screen. Press the ‘Services’ tab and click the checkbox near the ‘Hide All Microsoft Services’ option. Click on the ‘Disable All’ button and press the ‘OK’ button. Restart the PC while you are prompted. Check whether the problem gets resolved when your PC boot up to the desktop.
This problem occurs when you don't have internet..
Down load Standalone Google Chrome setup...

You are user account that's why it's not able to installing..
So log in as Administrator..
Now you can Install Google chrome...
Thank you and All the best..
You can take measures as suggested to successfully install the Google Chrome in your computer.
Utilise the utility provided by the Windows by using msconfig, the configuration utility ,
Click START > in the provided search box write msconfig > ENTER > provide password if prompted CONTINUE > GENERAL > SELECTIVE STARTUP > clear the check box next to LOAD STARTUP ITEMS > SERVICES > click the checkbox near HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES > DISABLE ALL > OK.
Another thing is Exhaustively check the system for virus presence by a good antivirus.
Also try installing Chrome once by disabling the installed anti virus if possible, sometimes installed antivirus and firewall prevents new installation.
:: First you need to restart your system.
:: Once the system restarting , go to the Google chrome set up.
:: And then right press on it.
:: Run the set as "run as administrate".
:: And install the Google chrome on your window 7.
I have the solution for your problem it is:-
1.Firstly check that you have connected to network correctly.
2.Check that the Internet connection may have some default.
3.Check that server is running well.
4.Or check that your system may causing this problem.
you can check your computer by doing as i say.....
1.Firstly go the start menu.
2.later there you type 'msconfig' and press 'Enter'.
3.then you go to the 'General' tab.
4.Then you go to the 'selective startup'.
5.There you uncheck all the options.
6.Then you make a click on 'Hide all Microsoft Services' and click on 'Disable All'.
7.At last click 'OK'.
Have a nice day.............
I myself had this problem but got the solution.
In order to resolve this problem do the following:
1. Go to the Start menu, and where it says Search Programs and Files, enter the following in that box: regedit
2. You will see the REGEDIT program icon, click it
3. Windows will ask if you're sure, click OK.
Now you have the Registry Editor open. Double-click the following to find the value we need to change (called STATE):
Right-click on STATE
Delete the value (so it's blank)
Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
At this point, I tried the Chrome Stand-alone installer, and it still did not work.
So, I installed another browser (Firefox), and made that browser the default for my Windows 7 installation.
Then, using Firefox, I tried the regular Chrome installer at www.google.com/chrome, and it worked perfectly for me.
hope it will work for you also.
Well, it seems to me you clicked only the Google Chrome shortcut on your desktop. If you don't have internet access then you will not be able to connect to internet and hence there will be no google chrome browser on your PC. Before installing Goolge Chrome you should have internet connection then you visit goolgle site and then download the latest version of your Goolge Chrome software. Now, install it to your PC. Hopefully, this time there will be no problem.
Check wheathe it is user account or administrator account ..
If it is user account then need to check you have permissions to install or not....
Try to Standalone chrome installer..
if it's not working..
then try to install other browser..
if it's works..
then check your Google chrome is already installed ..
If you have already installed then need to uninstall..
after that re install..
sure it will work..
1. You go to the filehippo internet sits page.
2. Download the google chrome browser.
3. After downloading install it...

Hi, Dear friend
First of all check whether the Google Chrome Downloaded properly or not

Now choose RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR >> and click YES
after that type sfc/scannow and press ENTER key .....and complete the process
After that type chkdsk/r and press ENTER key ......then click Y key from the keyboard and restart the PC ...and complete the process
After that go to my computer right click on OS installed DRIVE that is usually C:\ drive and choose PROPERTIES
Then tap on TOOLS tab....and click the Check Now button under the ERROR CHECKING Category ...and select SCAN FOR AND ATTEMPT RECOVERY OF BAD SECTORS check box...and finally click the START button to complete the process
And after completing all the above steps .... then again for the installation of Google chrome..........and this time it will be resolved
And Again if the same problem Exists ....simply RESTORE the PC settings after that Try again
