Unable to Install Java in windows 7 due to some Installer Package Error

I download Java from official website but when I am trying to install it, it displays an error “Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.” What does this error message mean and what should I do to fix this error because I can’t afford to download the software again because my internet speed is very slow.

    Hi,
From the coplain note of yours, it is very clear that the package you are having is corrupted. Is it an authentic copy at your disposal?if it is then immidietly contact the seller for a fresh software. Actually while installing Windows is trying to install the .DLL files which is the most vital file which stores a lot of information for the windows to be operated smoothly. DLL means Dynamic Link Library. now you can do another thing by downloading the .DLL file from the net, place into the bootable drive , c:\, into the system32 subdirectory under windows directory, and your job is done. c:\windows\system32
