Unable to install product key into Windows 7

I bought a PC recently and upgraded it to Windows 7. It is not possible to install product key into it as I keep getting the error code Ox8007232C along with a message saying “DNS request not supported by name server”. What should I do to fix up this error?

First of all, you need to move the cursor arrow to the bottom part of the desktop. Locate the ‘Start’ button afterwards and make a single click on it. This will bring up the start menu along with a set of options. You can find start search box at the bottom part of the menu. Type cmd into that box and press the ‘Enter’ key. Right click on the command prompt icon afterwards and select ‘Run as Administrator’ option. Once you can see the black command prompt window, enter the commands, slmgr –upk and slmgr -ipk <PK>into it. Press the ‘Enter’ key after each command. Type your original product key in the place of <PK> tag. This will uninstall and re-install the product key.
