Unable to print from Windows XP PC in draft mode using Kodak ESP 7 printer

Yesterday, I tried to print a document in my Windows XP PC with Kodak ESP 7 printer in draft mode. It printed the first page and produced two blank pages. Then, the second page gets printed half way and went to next page. After that, I got two more blank pages. Is there any solution available to resolve this problem?

    Hi,

Was it a recurring problem or one off instance?

If there is multiple occurence, then you might have to think of taking a number of steps.

    1. remove all connections to and from the printer., reconnect every connection.
    2. in the printer icon that is displayed on the system tray, right click and select "clear print queue". Try to print and see the result.
    3. If problem persist, install the printer driver once more, which you probably have in a CD. Remove the earlier installed Device Driver for printer first.
Once installed the printer should work fine.
    Thanks.
