    Unable to rename my Wi-Fi network adapter

    I want to rename the Wi-Fi network adapter on my Windows 8 system. But when I navigate to network adapters and right click on it then nothing pops up. Can somebody tell me how to change the name of the network adapter.

    Hello Friend,

    YOu want to rename the Wi-Fi network adapter on your Windows 8 system. But when you navigate to network adapters and right click on it then nothing pops up.

    Please go to the control panel and click to system restore ,

    After this your system rstore progress and after this you restart your system,

    Then you again control panel and open wifi adpter settings and chnage you want name set in adpter,

    my dear am understand your problem that you want to rename your Wi-Fi network To do it you need to Follow steps bellow and i hope my help will helps you !

    ...........................................HOW TO RENAME Wi-Fi NETWORK ADAPTER........................................

    @ my dear first of all , to open charms bar , swipe your cursor on the corner of your window8

    @ after that you need to tap on the Search option

    @ now put[FONT=Droid Sans, Arial, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif] ncpa.cpl in the search option and search it

    @ after that when search appear click on the result come out

    @ now my dear you are network connection option , mean to say now your cantrol option opened

    @ now my dear click on the option " Network adapter "

    @ after tap on it now select the option "Rename Network adapter"

    @ after that click on the apply option so the process is over now

    let me solve your problem in few steps

    press win+R
    type ncpa.cpl
    now a window will appear on the screen with network connections available.
    click on the desired network.
    Now at the top of the windows you can see "Rename this connection"
    rename it.

    dear friend,
    i can understand your problem to solve your problem follow the instructions given below
    1)go to the control panel and select system restore
    2)after restore completes restart your system
    3)and now move to control panel and wifi adapter settings and change your name
    4)this will certainly works and hence you task is completed
