    Unable to rename the newly created shortcut in Windows 7

    I created new shortcut in my Windows 7 System. It has default name as shortcut. I need to rename it and tried to do that. It is not changing the default name. I need help from you to solve
    the problem, by providing the solution. Thank you for the solution.

    STEP 1: Download Resource Hacker.
    STEP 2: Install and open it.
    STEP 3: Open “%windir%\System32\Shell32.dll”.
    STEP 4: Go to “String Table -> 1896”.
    STEP 5: In the right hand side, look for “New Folder” and “New Shortcut”.
    STEP 6: Remove “New” word from both the Strings.
    STEP 7: Change the remaining string to the desired name.
    STEP 8: Click on the “Compile Script” Button.
    STEP 9: Restart the System, your problem is solved.
