    Unable to resolve the Error code '0x80071a90' in Windows 7

    Hi, there is an issue with my windows 7. Whenever i am starting my windows 7 then screen shows an error code as mentioned above. If i am trying to restore to previous point then getting an error message that system Restore did not complete successfully. Your computer's system files and settings were not changed. How can i fix this issue. Please help me on this matter. Waiting for your reply !!

    First of all, log on your system with administrator rights then follow procedure:

    > Go to start button then type command msconfig.exe in Start Search box and hit Enter
    > Now, will be able to see System Configuration utility. Type admin password(if require)
    > Navigate to the General tab and choose Selective startup option
    > Clear Load startup items by clicking to checkbox
    > Go to Services tab and select check box for Hide all Microsoft services
    > At last, Disable all. Click ok and restart system

    After performing task, Reset system to start as usual. Follow the procedure:

    > First two steps will be remained same, then go to General tab
    > Click the Normal Startup option and then click Ok
    > At last, Click on Restart

    • Click the Start button , type msconfig in the search box, and then click msconfig.exe. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    • On the General tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the Load startup items check box.
    • Click Services, click Hide all Microsoft services, and then click Disable all.
    • Click OK, and then click Restart.
    • Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.
    • In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.
    • If any updates are found, click Install updates. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    • Once updates are installed, restart your computer. Click the Start button, type msconfig in the search box, and then click msconfig.exe. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    • On the General tab, click Normal startup, click OK, and then click Restart.

      • To start Windows in safe mode, click the Start button , type msconfig in the search box, and then, in the list of results, click msconfig.exe. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
      • In the System Configuration dialog box, click the Boot tab.
      • Click the Safe boot check box, click Network, and then click OK.
      • In the System Configuration dialog, click Restart. This will restart your computer in Safe mode with Internet access.
      • Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.
      • In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.
      • If any updates are found, click Install updates. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
