    Unable to Rip CD using windows media player in windows 7 as it display “windows media player cannot rip one or more tracks from the cd”

    I am using windows 7 from last couple of month and I was able to Rip cd using windows media player but now whenever I try to do so, it displays an error “windows media player cannot rip one or more tracks from the cd”. Is there any method to solve this issue? Please provide a step by step solution..

    It is not a big problem. To solve this issue First of all Open Windows Media Player in your windows 7 computer and follow the below given procedure:
    Go into Tools > Options > Rip Music and check whether if you have a location the music is being ripped to. You will not able to see if you have ripping issue mentioned above
    Now navigate to Organise > Manage Libraries >Music. You would be able to see a Music Folder Location. If there is no any folder location then click on "Add" and Add a music folder.
    Now do the same procedure for other 3 Libraries i.e videos, Pictures and Recorded TV.That's it .
    Try Ripping process again, you will not find any issue this time.

    Hello ..

    When you are unable to rip CD Using Windows media player in windows 7 .

    and the problem occured as Windows media player cannot rip one or more tracks from the Cd .

    Go to Tools , followed by options and check whether the music file is ripped .

    Organize and Manage Libraries , Music . you can find a Music Folder location there , named as MY Music.

    add the music folder there , and now you can try the ripping process.
