Unable to run DirectX related applications in Windows XP

I uninstalled DirectX 10 RC2 Pre Fix 3 to reinstall and update it but right after I re-installed I am unable run the applications which are related with DirectX like dxwebsetup.exe etc. and when I try to run I get the error message as "Internal System Error Occurred. Please refer to DxError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows Folder". What does it mean? What is the issue now? Is there any way to fix this problem?

Re: Unable to run DirectX related applications in Windows XP

    hi,

seems the updation on DirectX 10 is having an issue or the upgradation was unsuccessfull or corrupt files were downloaded and installed.

Though error log files tell alot about the problem but that wont possibly help unless you are a software specialist and a machine language expert.

Uninstall Directx 10 and upgrade pack then reinstall fresh DirectX10 and compare the situation.

    Thank you.
