Unable to run games in full screen through Windows 8

Whenever I try to play any types of games through my laptop upgraded to Windows 8, it canít be switched into full screen mode. There was no such issue while I was using Window 7 with my laptop. In what way can I resolve this?

First of all, you need to uninstall display drivers from your system. Right click on the ‘Start’ button and select ‘device manager’ from the start menu. Click on the plus sign next to ‘Display adapter’ for expanding it. Right click on ‘display adapter’ item afterwards and click the ‘Uninstall’ option from the available menu. When you finish uninstalling the drivers, install them in compatibility mode and check whether it resolves the issue. Go to the manufacturer’s website and download display drivers into your system. Once you download the driver, right click on it and select the ‘Properties’ option. Press the ‘Compatibility’ tab and click on the check box next to ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ label. Choose ‘Windows 7’ from the drop down menu and click on both ‘Apply’ and ‘OK’ options. Run the file afterwards to install it on your system. After that, try to play a game and switch into full screen mode.
