Unable to see the power plan on the Battery meter of my Windows 7 Laptop

I installed Windows 7 in my Laptop. Whenever I plug the charging wire, I can see that my laptop is charging. But, I cannot see the power plan which I want. How can I do that? Can anyone help me in choosing the power plan I want?

Re: Unable to see the power plan on the Battery meter of my Windows 7 Laptop

You wont ger a display of your power plan on your desktop or taskbar, that is not the design of windows 7.

But you can always check in to the power options to verify the settings.

To do so, click START, in the search box type " power options", press enter.

You will be offered the power option button notification, again click that to enter the POWER OPTION settings.

Once you are in there will be a number of options in the left pane as well as in front screen, select your desired options, apply them, press ok.

Exit, Reboot your settled power options will be set for execution.
