    Unstable mouse cursor problem in Windows Vista

    Recently I installed windows 7 in my desktop PC , since then I am facing the problem of unstable cursor. Whenever I try to write in notepad cursor jumps up and down on its own.
    If someone can tell what is the issue behind this ?

    The mouse movement which is unsolicited, can be due to a number of reasons.
    Among which the extrasensitivity and device driver issues are main.

    Go to START in the search box type mouse, in the following menu, select mouse settings and adjust the cursor speed,

    For changing the device driver, go to ,control panel> system and security> device manager> mouse>driver>uninstall- to remove existing driver first, update driver, to update the system with the latest mouse driver.

    Hi,
    Just do the following:
    Goto CONTROL PLANEL.
    Click on SYSTEMAND SECURITY.
    Click on DEVICE AMANGER.
    There click on MOUSE.
    Then DRIVER.
    Click on UNINSTALL DRIVERE.
    It will now remove the existing driver.
    Now click UPDATE DRIVER.....
    After this...
    Just restart your PC.
    Hope this surely helps...

    .............................Sometimes this kind of problem caused due to mouse itself.
    .....................................Now navigate mouse pointer on Control Panel and click on it.
    .......................................Under the control panel click on mouse Option.
    ................................Under the mouse Option dialog box click on View tab.
    ......................................... here more option show
    ......................................select speed option and abject speed slow and fast both option available
    ................................Uncheck the chekbox says Always shows the icon never thumbnails.
    ...............................Click OK to confirm change.
    ..............................your problem is solve.
    ............................. Remove mouse from USB port and put again.
    .........................estart your computer and try to scroll page.
    ............................. This time you will get proper response.
    .............................try these steps
