You should first of all click on the Start button and then on ‘Control Panel’ option. You can then view ‘Control Panel’ window on your screen. You should then switch into Classic View if it is on Category View by clicking on the option available in left pane. After that, you should double click on ‘System’ option available in Classic view. Then, you should click on ‘Hardware’ tab to view ‘Device Manager’ button. You should click on that button and then expand the ‘Sound, video, and game controllers’ option by simply clicking on the ‘+’ sign. You should then double click on the sound card installed on your PC. You can then view a dialog box with Driver tab on it. While clicking on that tab, you can find the ‘Update Driver’ button. You should click on that button to view the Hardware Update Wizard. You can update the sound card driver by following the instructions given on Hardware Update Wizard.

You can do it automatically from your windows device manager.
Type Device manager in the search box and click on it to open it.
In device manager you can see the Sound, Video and Game controller
click on it to select and you can find the hardware
Double click on it to get the properties.
In properties select drivers tab and click on update driver.
If you have any updated driver for your hardware it will get updated automatically.
