USB Copying became slow after software upgrade in Windows Vista

I am using Dell laptop which runs in Windows Vista. After installing software upgrade, the copying speed has become 25 MB/ Sec from 51 MB/Sec. How can I increase the speed?

    Hello,

To increase the copying speed, do the following:

    Virus check the whole syatem.

Check the Device for any issue.

Check the Driver file for any issue and if needed update Driver using Control Panel, Device Manager.

Check if your USB slot is fast or V-3, or the older v-2 or earlier which transfer at slow rate.

    Hi,

Usually copying of a file depends upon the software execution speed,

Cleanliness of the system from virus,

Transfer Speed of files through the USB Ports,

USB Driver files status, wheather they are updated or not.

Check your system for presence of any of those remove the clause and you will be satisfied.

    Thanks.

    Hi Friend
First you should Check your files of USB drive for virus infection.. with a good updated antivirus

Or for better transfer rate of files use USB port 3.0 instead of 2.0 which will increase performance.

And Don't use your your laptop while copying as it will increase CPU Usage thus decrease speed....

    Thank You!!

Re: USB Copying became slow after software upgrade in Windows Vista

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say............

1.For every USB device there will be writing and reading speed.

2.If your USB device got any damage then the speed will be disturbed.

3.If that is not your problem if it works fine with another systems.

4.Then the problem is with the USB drivers.

5.So you try to update the USB drivers to the latest version.

    Have a nice day..............

Typically duplication associated with personal files is determined by software program performance pace,
Health of the system via disease,
Exchange Swiftness associated with files through the USB Plug-ins,
USB Car owner files reputation, whether these are current and also not.
Examine your system for presence associated with any sexual affair eliminate the offer and you will be satisfied.
