    Hello friend...

The most initial step for all these type of problems will be reinstall.

So just uninstall the SM player and reinstall it and play the video and try to forward it.

If the forward doesn't work then it may be the problem of the video format.

Have you tried playing other videos and forwarded that?

If that the problem then some videos which have a different format doesn't allow you to forward.

If it is not the problem then you have to go for trouble shooter for the SM player.

You can get the steps how to trouble shoot the SM player in the article that has placed in the website of SM player.

    Hope this may help you...

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say............

1.This was the problem because of the some junk files.

2.So you try to repair that software.

3.Still you are facing the problem uninstall it first.

4.Then you open your browser and go to the website 'http://www.cnet.com'.

5.From there you download the SM player and install it.

It might be the problem of Player or with the video file

So, first of all you need to know .. which type of video files are supported by the SM player those are like

    MPEG-1 (VCD) and MPEG-2 (SVCD/DVD/DVB) video
MPEG-4 ASP in all variants including DivX ;-), OpenDivX (DivX4), DivX 5 (Pro), Xvid
    MPEG-4 AVC aka H.264
    RealVideo 1.0, 2.0 (G2)
    RealVideo 3.0 (RP8), 4.0 (RP9) (using Real libraries)
Sorenson v1/v3 (SVQ1/SVQ3), Cinepak, RPZA and other QuickTime codecs
MJPEG, AVID, VCR2, ASV2 and other hardware formats
    various old simple RLE-like formats

Now verify whether your video file listed from the above formats are not

And if not ... then convert the file in to above formats.....and try again
Otherwise .....there is a problem with the player only....in this case simply re-install the player again ....

    Thank you!!!!!
