you get this error when you try to load a program in memory where paging is too low.As virtual memory is managed by paging and segmentation.
to solve the issue follow these steps

    1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
    2. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
    3. In the Performance pane, click Settings.
    4. In the Performance Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
    5. In the Virtual memory pane, click Change.
    6. Change the Initial size value and the Maximum size value to a higher value, click Set, and then click OK.
    7. Click OK to close the Performance Options dialog box, and then click OK to close the System Properties dialog box.
    All the best.

Re: Virtual memory issues in Lenovo notebook running Windows 7

    Hi,
Your problem is something that needs a deeper look at the Operating Softwares special abilities which creates and removes operational bottlenecks.
The message is clear, virtual memory is too slow for program running.
A virtual memory is a software generated special zone which the software utilises for quick read-write-calculation processes. Windows create virtual space on hard disk space for the purpose. now over the time activities fill the space allotted for virtual memory and the space gets sqeezed and Windows cant perform the tasks due to the space crunch rendering the pc to work slow.
Thats time when you need to tune in the windows virtual spaceby entering system properties. But my suggestion is to let the windows select the virtual space area insted of you define the space.
Try and you will be feeling fine.
