    VLC Player does not get to full screen in Windows XP

    I play movies in VLC Player in Windows XP. When I double clcik on the screen, it should turn to full screen. It works well every time, but from yesterday, it is not switching to full screen. I tried many times, but could get the problem solved. Please, help me!

    Ok try the given options to get the full screen:-

    > Right click on the VLC Shortcut -> select 'Properties'.

    > In the properties window, by default you get "Shortcut" tab. There in the 'Run' option box, select "Maximized" from the options available in the box.

    > Also try in this way...Double click -> 'VLC Media Player Shortcut'.

    > Select "View" from the menu bar and click it. In the menu displayed, click on the option "Fullscreen Interface" or press "F11" directly to get it.

    Start VLC player, from the menu select, Tools, then select Messages, ( set Verbosity to 2),
    Double click,
    It should generate message in message log.
    Try to play any media file to watch the result, positive? OK.

    Else, uninstall the installed , download latest and install.
