It may be possible that updates that you are getting multiple times on your system, not installed properly. Check whether the update was installed or, not. Follow the procedure:

    > Click to start and navigate to All Programs
    > Click on Windows Update or Microsoft Update
    > Now, click on View update history
    > Go to the recent entry for the specific update and check states
    > If Successful status will show in the Status column then update installed otherwise not.

If you are unable to resolve the issue then Run Microsoft FixIt program on your system, click here

    Hi,

The problem you are encountering is possibly due to Improper installation or damaged download of updates which fails to serve its purpose and the updater smells the defect and downloads another copy of the same update for your convenience which is in fact irretating you.

Anyway follow the process as stated below:

START > ALLPROGRAMS > WINDOWS UPDATE > VIEW UPDATE HISTORY > check the latest update and its status wheather the are successful , If not select download updates and under observation install them and again check status.

Disable Auto Update by going to START > WINDOWS UPDATE > UPDATE SETTINGS here set autoupdate to off.

It will not disturb again. But you will be needed to find and install them manually at a regular interval.

    Thanks.

    Hello freind............
You can resolve by changing the small changes in your windows update settings.
Firs open windows update settings in your system and security from control panel.
Then select the Notify me and don't install updates.

from this you can install updates manually and you can prevent multiple downloads or updates...........

    Hope you understand..........
