    What to do if having issue when installing Java in Windows 7?

    whenever trying to install java on my windows 7 system then getting an error code 1723, and with the error message that there is a problem with the Windows Installer package. Having issue this time after clean installation of windows 7. Can anyone help me!!

    Hi,

    Usually java is installed in the Windows hindrence free , but in your case when you have clean installed Windows 7, there should not be any problem with the installation.

    Click on CONTROL PANEL > PROGRAMS > JAVA > ADVANCED > APPLICATIONS INSTALLED and check if never install is selected.

    Try that.

    Dear Friend,
    >First You should remove java and any of its traces of failed installing.
    >Then Download and install windows offline installer package.
    I hope your problem will be solve.

    Hi.
    Follow the below given methods:
    Method 1.
    Please follow the steps below for resolving this issue.
    1.Remove any traces of the failed Java installation by uninstalling Java.
    >Click Start>Select Control Panel>Select Programs>Click Programs and Features>Select the program you want to uninstall by clicking on it, and then click the Uninstall button.(You may need administrator privileges to remove programs).
    2.Download and install the Windows offline installer package.

    Method 2.
    Follow the steps provided below, which would help you to unregister and re-register Windows installer.
    a.On the "Start" menu, Type Run in the search bar and hit enter.
    b.In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.
    c.On the "Start" menu, Type” Run” in the search bar and hit enter.
    d.In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /regserver", and then press ENTER.
