    What to do if having problem with accessing 'Task manager' in Windows XP?

    I am unable to access task manager in my windows XP, can't open it. Everytime error message appearing on screen that Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator. Is there anyone who can solve the issue to me, as soon as possible! Help!!

    It may be possible that your system having registry settings issue that stopping you to access Task Manager or, it may be related to Local Group Policy issue, it can also block you for using Task Manager. Follow the procedure:

    > Open Run window, by clicking on start button and click on run
    > Write "Gpedit.msc"(without inverted coma) and hit Enter
    > Go to User Configuration and then Administrative Templates
    > Now, click on System and then Ctrl+Alt+Del Options
    > Navigate to right side and verify Remove Task Manager and set it to Disable
    > Now, close Gpedit.msc window, process finished..

    HELLO DEAR,

    Dear if you you are facing problem in accessing task manager I window XP then dear this may be some problem with the computer window setting or this may be the problem due to error in registry so dear if you want to get rid of this problem then you may have to follow the below written procedure:-

    1 >> Dear open run window of you computer by pressing Window key +R.
    2 >> Dear now write Gpeditand press enter from your key board.
    3 >> Now go to user configuration and then choose administrative templates.
    4 >> Dear now click on system and then CTRL+ALT+DEL option and navigate to verify remove task manager and set it to disable.
    5 >> Dear now close window and restart your computer.

    Hi.
    Follow the below method to resolve the issue:
    >Click Start, type gpedit and press Enter.
    >Navigate to the following registry key:

    [FONT=Verdana]Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\System[/FONT]

    >Right-click System and click Export to back up the registry key.
    >Change the value of "DisableTaskMgr" on the right pane from 1 to 0.
