What to do if I have installed the Windows 8 OS and changed lot of settings which am not able to revert back? Should I re-install the OS again?

No, there is no need to go for a re-install if you change the settings or totally messed up with the new OS too because there is a real good option given in Windows 8 to revert back to the factory settings which automatically reverts all the changes you have done but earlier windows we end up going for a re-install of the OS.

Now how to revert back to the factory setting if something goes wrong? Itís simple Windows 8 provides two major options where you can go for the factory settings which is 1) Refersh - which removes all the installed 3rd party app and goes for the factory settings 2) Reset- Wipes fully your operating system and the data stored and goes for the factory settings.

How to use this two options? Just follow the steps given to do it,

STEP 1: Press the windows key and go to the start screen.
STEP 2: Now move your mouse cursor gently to the right corner end of the screen, you will get a popup menu aligned vertically.
STEP 3: Select Setting from that menu and Select More PC settings.
STEP 4: Go to General -> Reset your PC and start over.
STEP 5: Follow the steps give from there.

If you want to change the settings of your windows 8 then you can select the settings which you want to change and then you can enjoy the features of the windows 8 version of the OS and also you can go through the settings of the control panel and there you can find them and you need not to re install the OS again.

If you have changed the settings much and don't want them then it is advisable to re install your windows.
As the time needed to install windows 8 is more or less 35 minutes you can do that.
Re configuring takes more than 35 minutes and you need to go through a lots of blogs to revert the changes.
    Just re install your windows,

    Dear,

To revert back the changed settings, you can use system restore facility to reset your system.

To do the system restore in Windows 8:
    >Go to Search option by swiping mouse cursor in the right edge of screen.
    >Type recovery in the box.
    >In the menu - 'Advanced Recovery Tools', select 'Open system restore'.
    >Select an earlier system restore point
    before the settings are altered.
    > Restart your computer.

If you have not created any restore point before, then you need to install the operating system again.

    Thanks!
