    Hello friend...

yes, you solved your problem firstly you try this method...

Open the cmd then go to "c:\windows\system32\config\TxR"

Run the command "attrib –H –S *" to make all hidden files in the directory visible.

Then run the another command "del *.blf"

Run the another command "del *.regtrans-ms"

    Then reboot the machine..

If this method not working now you need to repair the windows vista then you repair the windows vista now working the firewall properly...

you also scan the whole computer it may be due to some virus....

    Hi,

to solve the issue do this :go to Command Prompt,

Type cmd in Command Prompt, go to "c:\windows\system32\config\TxR"

Type command "attrib ĖH ĖS *" to make all hidden files in the directory visible.

    Type "del *.blf"

    Type "del *.regtrans-ms"

    Reboot the machine..

If this method is not working then you need to repair the windows vista by using the Windows Vista Installer CD.

you also scan the whole computer for virus infection.
