    Hello there !!!

if you want to use windows 8 release preview than you need to download it from the internet
with correct architecture that is if your operating system is of 64 bit than you also have to download

and your pc might be showing the problem due to this compatibility issue. ok??
so, try to do that as it is stated above.

hope i am clear to you.

Once you have received such a message on your system, be sure about a number of things such as :

    1. The update is already installed in your system.
    2. the download of the update is corrupt or incomplete due to error in connection.
    3. the Operating System is corrupt by virus infection.
    4. Windows installation in your system has corruption which is failing your installation of updates.

Take evasive actions such as antivirus scanning and cleaning, Repair windows using the original Windows Installer CD etc, which will definitely bring sanity to your otherwise problematic system.
