What are the functions of the different resiliency types of Storage Spaces in Windows 8?

My PC runs in Windows 8. I recently read an article which mentioned storage spaces in Windows 8. I managed to find the ‘Create storage space’ option from Settings. A window appeared asking to select a resiliency type. What are the functions of these resiliency types?

There are 4 resiliency types from which you can choose. Selecting none, will make Windows store one copy of the data in the storage pool. You will lose data if one drive fails. Two-way mirror makes Windows save two copies of data and requires two drives for the pool. Data won’t be lost if one drive fails. Three way mirror saves three copies of data but requires three drives for the pool. Data won’t be lost if one or two drives fail. Parity is good if you are storing video files in the pool. Windows protects the data even if one drive fails.

To remove that, right click on any space in desktop first and choose ‘Properties’ from the available menu. Press the ‘Desktop’ tab afterwards and hit the ‘Customize Desktop’ button. Then, select the ‘Web’ tab and clear off everything from Web pages box. After that, press the ‘OK’ button and select ‘Apply’ option. You may need to select the ‘OK’ option for saving the changes.
