What has to be done for fixing general failure with Outlook installed on Windows Vista?

I have installed Outllook mail into my PC running on Windows Vista. I keep getting the error message “General Failure, system cannot find the file specified” along with a URL. In what way can I fix up this issue?

Press the ‘Start’ button and locate the ‘Control Panel’ option. Make a single click on that option once you find it. Then, type default into the search field and press the ‘Enter’ key. The next step required is to click on ‘Set your default programs’ option. Find out the browser you use afterwards and click on it. After that, select ‘Choose defaults for this program’ option. You can then find ‘HTTP’ and ‘HTTPS’ options. Click on the checkbox next to these options and hit the ‘Save’ button.

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say....................

1.Firstly check you have connected your system to the internet correctly or not.

2.Then you check that you have selected the options 'HTTP' and 'HTTPS' in the default program of the Google Chrome.

3.Even if it is not working some of it's files may not be installed correctly in your computer.

4.So you insert the CD of the Outlook and repair the present software.

5.Or you uninstall that software and re-install this may fix your problem.

That's it by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    Have a nice day...............
