What has to be done for removing contacts from ‘To’ dropdown list on Outlook mail in Windows 7?

When I try to send a mail through Outlook mail on my PC running on Windows 7, I can find some unwanted contacts appearing in the ‘To’ dropdown list. I need to remove them as soon as possible. What are the steps for that?

Launch the outlook home page and locate your name on the top right part of the screen. Click the ‘gear’ icon over there for viewing the settings. The next step is to click on ‘More mail settings’ option. Find out ‘Customizing Outlook’ label from the available list. Click the ‘Advanced Privacy Settings’ option under this label. You can then find ‘Only suggest people in my contact list’ option. Make a single click on the dot in front of that option. After that, press the ‘Save’ button that pops up on the screen.
