What has to be done for resetting the count of screenshots created on Windows 8?

There is no issue in taking screenshots after upgrading my PC to Windows 8. But, I am not able to correct the count of screenshots if I delete or move some of them from the PC. What should I do for that?

As a first step, press the Windows Key +R on the keyboard. This will open up the ‘Run’ dialog box. Type regedit into the ‘Open’ field in that box and then hit the ‘Enter’ key. The ‘Registry Editor’ window will pop up on the screen afterwards. Navigate into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer from the left part of the window. You can then find a DWORD value named ScreenshotIndex in the right pane. Double click on it and change the value from 0 to 1.
