What has to be done for taking screenshots through Windows 7 home premium?

I want to take a screenshot of a website accessed via my PC running on Windows 7 home premium. Apart from that, I need to send it to my friend through e-mail. What should I do to accomplish this?

Get into the web page and hold down Shift and Prtscrn keys together to create the screenshot. Then, press the ‘Start’ button and choose ‘All Programs’ from the start menu. After that, highlight the ‘Accessories’ option. You can then find a menu from which click the ‘Paint’ option. Once the ‘Paint’ window pop up on the screen, click the ‘Paste’ item under ‘Edit’ option located at the top left part. Click the ‘File’ option and hit the ‘Save as’ item. Select ‘JPEG’ from the file type drop down list. Type in a name for that file and press the ‘Save’ button. You can then attach that file to the mail and send it to your friend.

    Hi.
To take a screen shot and save it as a picture follow the below steps:

    >>Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard. (Depending on the type of keyboard you have, the exact key names on your keyboard may vary slightly.)

Note:You can take a screen shot of your entire desktop rather than just a single window by pressing the Print Screen key without holding down the Alt key.

    >>Click Start, click Accessories, and then click Paint.
    >>In the Paint window, click Edit, and then click Paste.
    >>When the image appears in the Paint window, click File, and then click Save As.
    >>In the Save As dialog box, in the File name box, type a name for the screen shot, and then Save it as jpeg file.

You can now print or email the saved screen shot just like you would any other picture.

    Thank you.

    hiii...
its easy as well as simple to take screenshots.
you can use Snipping tool available in start menu.
Open that and then click new.
Then select what type of snip you want.Like if you want to crop any definite size of screen, then select free snip.
If you wish to take a pic of complete window, you have to select window snip.
Suppose you have selected window snip, then you just have to select the window whose pic you want and it will open up in a new snipping tool window. You can edit that a little bit.You can also save the snip in many formats like *jpeg,*png etc...
I am sending you an example which shows the same window in which, i have written the answer to your question.
