What is the method for creating custom refresh images on Windows 8?

Even though it is possible to use ‘Refresh’ function with my PC upgraded to Windows 8, I need to re-install the third party programs after the refreshing the system. To avoid that, I am planning create custom refresh images on the system. What are the steps needed to be taken for that?

The first step required is to bring up the system utility settings menu by pressing Windows key + X on the keyboard. Navigate through that menu afterwards and click the ‘Command Prompt (Admin)’ option. This will show up UAC warning message on the screen. Press the ‘Yes’ button available in that message and wait until the command prompt pops up. Then, you need to type mkdir c:\CustomRefresh into that window and hit the ‘Enter’ key for creating a directory to store ‘CustomRefresh’ folder in ‘C’ drive. After that, you can run recimg tool for creating custom image in that folder. Type the command recimg /createimage c:\CustomRefresh and hit the ‘Enter’ key on keyboard for that.
