    What needs to be done to change the video filter settings in Windows?

    I want to change the video filter settings in my Windows computer. Which settings need to be changed?

    For changing the video filter Settings, you will have to;
    • Click on the menu denoted as ‘Tools’
    • Then choose the option denoted as ‘Options’
    • Now choose the option denoted as ‘Compatibility’
    • Now users will be provided with a range of video filters
    • Users can turn or off a filter by means of selecting or clearing the check box that is present next to it
    • Finally for restoring the default filter settings, users will have to tap on the option denoted as ‘Restore all Defaults’
    This is how video filter settings can be changed in Windows.

    Mostly Windows Movie Maker in Windows XP uses video and audio filters when you import, preview, and save movies.

    To change video filter settings



    1.Click the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Compatibility tab.


    2.In the list of video filters, you can turn on or off a filter by selecting or clearing the check box.
    To restore default filter settings, click Restore All Defaults.

    Video and audio filters are pieces of software that are installed on your computer that help interpret video files so that they will display and play properly.
    Windows Movie Maker uses them when you import video and audio.

    Now a list of video filters will be displayed.


    Now you can turn on or off a filter by checking or unchecking a box by the side of the filter.
