    What needs to be done to disconnect unused network drives in Windows XP laptops?

    Can you explain in detail the procedure for disconnecting the unused network drives in Windows XP laptops.

    For disconnecting the unused network drives in Windows XP laptops.
    You will have to;
    • Tap on the tab denoted as ‘Start’
    • Then choose the option denoted as ‘My Computer’
    • Now navigate towards the Tools Menu
    • Then you will have to tap on the option denoted as ‘Disconnect Network Drive’
    • Now choose the network drives that is no longer needed by the user
    • Finally tap on the option denoted as ‘OK’
    That’s it. The unused network drives are disconnected successfully in your Windows XP laptop.

    How to disconnect network drive ??
    There are two methods to disconnect network drive :

    1. Use the Net Use command to map or disconnect a drive

    Click Start, and then click Run.
    Type cmd.
    Type net use x: /delete, here x refers to network drive

    2. Disconnect from a mapped network drive

    Go to Start, and then click My Computer.
    Right-click the icon for the mapped drive.
    Click Disconnect.

    Follow these steps:

    1.Open my computer.
    2.From tools menu,click disconnect network drive.
    3.Then select the network drives which are useless and no longer use.
    4. click ok.

    Follow these steps to disconnect the unused network drives in windows xp-

    Go to My computer.

    Choose the tools option.

    Tap on the option named Disconnect Network Drive.

    Choose the network drive you don't need further.

    Select the OK option to save changes.

    To disconnect the unused network follow these steps

    • Select the My computer
    • Then choose the tab Tools Menu
    • Then select the option Disconnect Network Drive
    • Then choose the network drivers that are not used
    • Then select the option Ok to confirm the action,
    The the unused networks are deleted from your system.

    Hi, Dear friend

    To Disconnect the Unused Network .. drivers follow the below instructions

    go to start menu and click on RUN

    and now type ncpa.cpl and click OK

    and configure the Unused network drivers .....and then simply right click on it ...and choose DISABLE option

    and after that it will be disconnected from the network

    ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
