What are the problems that I will face if Windows 8 expires?

I have installed Windows 8 on my PC. I am wondering what haapens when the windows 8 expires. I am on confusion whether it will take me back to Windows 7? Is there any way for me to downgrade to Windows 7 in the meantime. Because I don't have much knowledge about Windows 8. Also I need to tell you that I don't have Windows 7 Install disk where it was pre-installed on my Compaq PC at the time of purchase. Can anyone give me the tips to overcome from this confusion.

Most of the people who installed Windows 8 have this confusion. At the time of expiry, you won't get any updates from Microsoft and the update will notify you that the Release Preview is gonna expire. If you use Windows 8 Release Preview even after the expiry date, you will meet problems like black background, warning popups, automatic shut downs and so on. So you need to upgrade to full version once it is released. If you want to downgrade to Windows 7 then you need to have a Genuine disk copy. Without the disk, you can't go back to Windows 7.

If you have copy or trial version or licence expire of window 8 ,then you face problem due to expire.
For that you should know when the expiry of window 8 and before expiry you should re-install or buy a licence of it.
To know about that , Hit the window , Type in winrer and press Enter.you will show your window 8 expire date with time.
Before this expire date , you should re-install it again ,otherwise you will face below problems due to expire window 8.

Problems due to expire of window 8

Desktop background will turn in black colour and wallpaper removed automatically.
If you try to set again ,it will again removed at some interval of time.
Notification is dispayed at time of interval that copy of operating system is not genuine.
PC shut down at every hour automatically.so you loss your unsaved file while performing on PC.

    Hi,
To answer to your query let me tell you once the software expires it will stop working and you will be able to do absolutely nothing with it.
Only thing happens that the installed Windows8 will sit idle in your hard disk occupying a huge space without any functionality, if that workes at all in your favor.
You need to buy full version of Win8 and install it again i suppose.

    Thank you.

    HELLO FRIEND,

Well if your Windows 8 expires following things will happen:-

1.Sudden warnings showing "windows is not activated".

2.automatic shutdown of the system and as a consequence loss of data

3.Black screen showing "windows is not genuine".

4.And no updates will be available.

    GOOD LUCK
