What is process to apply same view to all files and folders in Windows 7?

The files and folders in my PC upgraded to Windows 7 have got different explorer views. I need to set up default view for all types and folders on the system. What are the steps for that?

The first step required to find out and open the folder which hold the view settings that you like to apply for all files and folders. Then, make a single click on ‘Tools’ option. Once you get into ‘Tools’ menu, search for ‘Folder Options’ option. The moment you catch the sight of that option, click on it which will bring up ‘Folder Options’ window. Press the ‘View’ tab in that window for showing up view settings. The next step required is to press the ‘Apply to All Folders’ button. Click the ‘Yes’ option available on the prompt message and hit the ‘OK’ button.

    METHOD #1

    Capture.jpg

    1. open the folder that has the view setting that you want to use for all folders.

    2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
    3. On the View tab, click Apply to All Folders.
    4. Click Yes and then click OK.

In Vista and Windows 7, you have to follow these steps for five different folder templates to have all Explorer folders show the details view: General Items, Documents, Pictures, Music, and Videos.

    Hello there !!

to apply the same view to every file and folder , first of all you have to
set the view to the one and same type.
and then only you can have the same view.

or you can set the type of the view in the folder collection.
this will make the folder to view in same type and the files inside the
folder will have the same view as their parent folder.

hope i am clear to you.
    thanks for posting in EALP.
