    Hello,

There are not many risks involved with the installation f the new windows 8 preview.
only that you have t buy it otherwise it will expire in months.
So you may lose your data because of it.
So the best way is to dual boot it , in this manner you will be able t use windows 8 and your data will be protected to.

    -Regards

    Hi,

I dont think a lot of risks are involved in installing a newer and going to be defacto standard operating system, but only thing need to be cautious about is that,

Back up all your important documents for incase scenerio,

This preview software will expire after the stipulated time and then you need to get back to the old ones or will have to upgrade to the complete version by paying a price.

It has been found that a lot of programs start to malfunction once it is rolled back from higher versions to the lower again.

    Thanks.
