What should I do to fix the problem in my Windows XP which shows a error message whenever I come to the desktop?

I am getting a error message recently in my Windows XP PC, it says “A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for the computer. Error Code: 0x80090006”. What does it mean? Can you tell me how to fix this problem?

Problem is preventing windows from accurately checking the license for this computer, error code*0x80090006" means we cannot get into "safe mode" because it encounter the logon problem. Therefore*we can't get to Start, Run etc and *we can access is Recovery Console after using the 6 starup disk from*microsoft.*
It can cause problems to arise in the following situations:
1.A bootable Win2K/XP partition is duplicated and the original partition is
in the MBR at the time the duplicated partition is booted.
    2. You slide or move a bootable Win2K/XP partition and another partition is
added or moved to start where the bootable Win2K/XP partition was.
To clear the disk signatures a method used *to run BootItNG then do
    the following:
    1. Enter the "Work with Partitions" Dialog.
    2. Choose the correct hard drive.
    3.Click the "View MBR" button
    4.Click the "Clear Sig" button
    5.Click the "Apply" button.
    6. Now we *can boot into XP in its new position.*

    dear friend,

If some system file is missing from the default location or the drive letter path is changed then this error message comes.

Follow these guidelines to solve this issue-

If you're using ghost then specify the FDSZ switch to make the Ghost image & if you are using Drive image pro then upgrade it.

Error0x80090006 is actually a repeating licence error.

Download the PC cleaner tool from the following address-

    http://error-codes.com/repair/dl.php?0X80090006.

Execute the program to repair your system.

You may also repair your system using a bootable DVD.

Download the Reimage Repair tool from the following address-

    http://www.sydown.net/download-repair-tool

By executing this you can repair all the corrupted sectors-also you can make an image of your system.

Its huge database system provides you the facility.

After doing the repair, go for windows update.

Update your windows XP with the latest downloads from the Microsoft website.

Hope these info will help you to solve your problem.
