I am unable to open files with extension JPG, uppercase and if trying to open files with extension jpg lowercase then file opening. Can’t understand issue. If trying to open file with JPG extension getting an error message check your permissions for the folder, can’t create it. Any help would be appreciated!!

Friend generally there is no special need to open .JPEG file. You can open it ony bye double click. but due the some problem if you are unable to open file. then right click on file and choose " open with" option".
A Dialog box will get open and here you will have to choose windows picture viewer option.
You can also open this file in paint and other picture related software whichever already installed in your system.

What application you are using to open the jpg files...Try some other applications to view your jpg files like Picasa or Image viewer etc.., which are available in the internet..

When You Have Converted File From Any Software "Paint etc" Than That File Readable,
And If You Change Any File's Extension From The Software Like "Notepad" Than That Is Not Readable And Not Open Any Software.

For solving this Problem Follow These steps...
Go to Start button...
Click on Run... or ( direct press Windows key +R)...
Type there one Command that is "Regedit"....
Press the enter key to open registry editor...
Scroll down to following location to check the setting and change if required:-
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png] "content type"="image/png"
After completion this process Close the register editor and open image files....

First of all you Make sure that you have set default program to open .Jpg files on the computer. 1) Open Default Programs by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Default Programs.
2) In Default Programs Click on: Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Use this option to fine-tune default programs based on the file type or protocol.
3) In the list of file extension look for .Jpg files and make sure that you have program associated with it like Windows Photo Viewer.
