Whenever I try to run some games in my Windows PC the game crashes by simply showing a black screen and comes out or it throws an error saying dx3d error

I use to play many games in my Windows PC but some of the games when I install and run the exe file it just simply crashes by showing the black screen or sometimes it throws an error saying dx3d error. Can you tell me what is this about? How to fix this problem so that I can play all the game normally?

This is certainly a problem with Graphics which is nothing but the hardware which deals with your Graphics processing. Now if you are using some external Graphic card as like AMD, NVIDIA and Intel then probably you have to update the drivers of the Graphic card to the latest versions. To go to the drivers download page try the below links if you have the respective Graphic cards.

    AMD DRIVERS

    NVIDIA DRIVERS

    INTEL DRIVERS

If the error still persists or the game crashes again without any reason then probably you have to change your Graphics hardware to play the game as now a days there is so much advancement in Games with respect to Graphics it is not possible to play those game in the hold hardware such as 1GB RAM, 256MB Graphics card and so. Now a days the minimum requirement to play games which are released in the present time are 4GB RAM and 1GB Graphics which will be quite decent to play if anything under this configuration then probably the Game will start to lag or crash in due time.

So if you feel like you have to play the game somehow then you have left with one option that is to buy the a new Graphic card which is around Rs.2000-4000 for PC or whole new system if the old one is outdated.

    Hello my friend,

This error is related to Microsoft directx.

some examples of the error are:

The file d3dx9_25.dll was not found
The file d3dx9_27.dll was not found

To resolve this problem, download and then install the latest version of DirectX End-User Runtimes Web Installer
    download link:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

you can do this manually also just follow these steps:->

    1. Insert the disc 1 CD/DVD for your game into the CD/DVD drive of the computer.
    2. Click Start
      , and then click Documents.
    3. Locate and then click Computer.
    4. Locate and then click the CD/DVD drive.
    5. Locate and then click the following folder:CDDrive:\ DirectX9
Note In this path, CDDrive represents the drive letter of the CD drive.
    6. Double-click Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x86.cab, right-click d3dx9_25.dll, and then click Copy. Note Use the Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x64.cab file for the x64-based version of the Windows operating system.
    7. Locate the following folder for your game:Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Game Title
Note In this path, Drive represents the drive letter on which the game is installed, and Game Title represents the game that you want to repair.
    8. Right-click the game folder that corresponds to the game that is installed on the computer, and then click Paste.

Hope this would solve your problem.

    ALL THE BEST.

    Hello,

Friend this error is pretty common in the windows Operating systems.

The main reason behind this kind of an error is the graphics card drivers.

If you have the latest directx installed in your computer than make sure that it has all the required files for the game.

If the game shows some error like d3_dx9 file missing than you will have to download it from the net.

But if there is no problem with your directx than try installing the latest graphics driver on your system.

    It will solve your problem.

    -Regards

you need to buy and install the graphics card. Better get 1 Gb so that you can play even the recent games........
Also while installing the games check out the required configuration and your configuration.....
Some time you need to update the video card so use windows update option to do that..
Sometime you just copy the game instead of installing it so the error comes out.. install the games using the recommended settings..............

    ### Hi dude ###

    restore.jpg

You need to download DirectX to solve this problem,

    • Download the latest version DirectX 9.0c and install it.
    • By doing this,it will clear all the directix errors.
    • Take a backup of DirectX while you install.
    • When the computer meets directx errors again, then you can just restore it to solve the problem.

    Hello friend,

this is happen because of two reasons:-
    >>Software problems:-

if directx9 or upgrade version of directx is not installed in your computer then it will show dx3d
    error while runing any game.
so you need to install it in your computer before runing games.
you can download it from officialy website of microsoft or In dvd of games

    2.

    >>Hardware problems:-

it is also possible that your computer's hardware doesnt meet the requirement for the game.
    like RAM,Graphic memory etc.
so you need to upgrade your hardware systems according to your game requirement.
    thats it
    thank you

    Hi,

The problem with your system is of DirectX, which is a graphic assistant file, which is absolutely necessary to run all graphic heavy programs.

The Graphics Driver or the Windows graphic programs are not enough without to handle Graphic Intensive Programs thus they link DirectX to achive ultimate goal of running the Games or other graphics.

You log into the Microsoft Official Website and download the latest DirectX file and install into Windows and the problem will be over.

    Thanks.

This was a normal Direct-X Problem for this what you have to do is to

    First Click Windows Key+R (run).
    Type dxdiag and hit enter.

Direct-X Diagnostic screen will appear and if windows find any fault in direct-x it will repair or ask you for the Same.

Secondly Download Full Latest Direct-X from Microsoft site Size 95-120 M.B or the same file (hardly sized some Kb or MBs)that causing error from internet. and copy it in C:/ Windows/ System32 Folder.

    thanks.......

    Hello,

Your computer has lost the program which is known as DirectX and needed to assist Windows in the graphics heavy programs to run.

Windows alone can`t handle graphics heavy programs alone.

Log in to Microsoft Official Site and download a fresh copy of DirectX and install it in Windows.

    that will solve your problem.

I think your window graphics are not suitable for the game ,so first update your videos drivers or use the graphics card and the try to play
You can update your windows video drives by fallowing step

    >>right click on my computer icon
    >>click on "Manager"
    >>Click on "Device Manager"
    >>in right side you see a list of drivers
    >> right click on "Display adapter"
    >>a child menu is open ,right click on this child menu
    >>select update option
    >>and select automatically update the drivers

    All the best
