A message stopping me to install MS office for windows XP that is Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This message appearing everytime when trying to install MS office on Windows XP. How to fix this error. need help!!

You must ensure that installer service is running or not on your system Check it by Msconfig tool. Follow the procedure to fix this Error:
-> First of all, click on Start button
-> Click on Run to open Command window
-> Now, Type msconfig and hit ok
-> Navigate to service Tab and click on check box next to Windows Installer
-> Click on Ok and restart your system
Process finished, after restarting the system, try to install MS Office again. Now, your issue will get resolved.

You have to understand the flavor of Windows which comes handy on most occation, like this one and provides you an option in the form of msconfig, which is a configuration utility,and should be used from the "Run" option after clicking "Start". Move towards Service tab and click check box notifying Windows Installer, exit, restart.
Make sure the CD/DVD you are using is in perfect condition.
There is no virus present in the system.
The hard diskh is in good health.
Sometimes antivirus/firewall installed in the windows blocks programs from installing considering them as invation.If so disable them.
