Why my System does not go to Sleep Mode?

I have System with Windows 7 Operating System. Whenever I want to get into Sleep Mode it does not. It also does not show any error details, but does not go into Sleep Mode. What might be the Problem and what is the Solution to solve the Problem.

Re: Why my System does not go to Sleep Mode?

This problem is caused due to one of the reason. One of the device might be configured to bring in out to stand by. Solve the simple steps to solve your problem as:

STEP 1: Goto Start and type ‘cmd’ and hit Enter.
STEP 2: Type ‘powercfg-devicequerywake-armed’ and hit Enter.
STEP 3: Press ‘Windows + R’ to open Run and type ‘devicemgmt.msc’ and hit enter to open Device Manager.
STEP 4: Look for the devices which are present earlier and Double Click on them. Go for ‘Advanced’ or ‘Power Management’ Tab.
STEP 5: If you can find the Option ‘Allow the Device to wake the Computer’ uncheck it.
STEP 6: Click on the ‘Ok’.
STEP 7: This solves your Problem. If it is not, then redo the process and look for any other devices and uncheck the Option.
