    hi there,

Its unfortunate that we are using the preview of the OS Window 8, which has some limitations and draw bugs as well. It may be the case with you.

To be able to play the DVD, I recommend you to install VLC MEDIA PLAYER or GOM MEDIA PLAYER. You will be able to do it easily. You can easily download them here :

    VLC PLAYER : http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/
    GOM PLAYER : http://download.cnet.com/GOM-Media-P...-10551786.html

Even if you don't want to download them, you can try :

    * OPEN the contents of CD/DVD in explorer
    * go to MPEGAV folder, in case its an VIDEO CD/DVD
    * PLAY the files with extension .VOB or .MPG or .DAT or .AVI

    Enjoy..!!

Friend, this problem may be due to the Format which is not Supported by the Windows Media Player.

To solve this Problem, you can download the "Codec Pack" and Install it. So, now Windows Media Player allows every format to play.

You can Download Codec Pack HERE.

After Installing Codec Pack, make sure you Restart your Computer.

    1. Right-click on your desktop and choose Screen Resolution.

    2. Go ahead and pick a resolution that is supported by both monitors. You may have to lower the resolution of one of the displays in order for this to work. Now try playing your DVD.

3.The second way to fix this problem is to only use one monitor instead of two. You can do this by going to Screen Resolution again and then choosing “Show desktop only on x” where x is the number corresponding to each display.

4.Of course, this is not ideal, but you may only have to do it while playing your DVD. After that, you can re-activate the second monitor.

5.Finally, you can also fix this problem by using both displays in extended mode. Simply press Windows + P and left clicking on your selection. This basically means the desktop will be extended from one monitor to the second, not cloned.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,
The WIndow media player is not the best player which can run all the videos , It only support some format of video...
You are getting this problem because the format of the file in the DVD is not supported by the Window media player...
To get ride of this problem i will suggest you to install other player..
Following are the names of some of the Best Player :
    1)VLC
    2)GOM
    3)MpcStar
In these VLC is the best i will suggest you to go with VLC and it supported all most all the format.. and it is free of cost..

Hope you have got your answer...
