Re: Why the stored “User Names” and “Passwords" boxes are empty in internet explorer?

Yes it happen because of some security reasons, the simple reason is
==> If username and password boxes always filled with respective information anyone can log in into your account.

Generally user names and passwords are not preferable to store in computers like cafes and friends systems etc except PC.

After saving the username and password system stores information but never display in respective boxes but when you type first letter of user name it will appear automatically,
and password also fills automatically (It protects password knowing from others by seeing it while typing).

That is why the user name and password boxes are empty in internet explorer 8.
Hope this information cleared your doubt.

The stored user names and the password are saved in your internet explorer.
When you go to a website then in the user field type your first letter of the user name,
it will show the list of usernames.
Select the username you like from the drop down list.
then it will show the password filled with data automatically.
then click login, to loginto the system.

hello my friend....it is because of you are not enbled the option to save your username and password feature in internet explorer. There is a feature in every brower to store your usernames and password. So if you enable that feature then your usernames and password will show and if you disable it ...it will not show in internet explorer.

    dear friend,

You may provide user names and the password in your internet explorer.

    It's for safety purpose.

You may use this combination to make a restriction using for your computer.

Also you can block unwanted pop ups by using this combination..

    Hello Friend,
Those boxes are done by using 'WEB APPLICATIONS' why those boxes are empty means user has to fill those boxes and and they have to log in using id and password. Then it will enter into data base. It will check for details for the user and it will open page that related to that...

    Thank u..
