dear friend,
Google chrome has already got a metro app for windows 8.
There is no drastic change in Google chrome metro version.
Metro featured chrome has a slight thicker & a tweaked color scheme.
You need to install latest DEV channel build to test the Google chrome for metro.
Go to the settings of your Google chrome & make it your default browser.
After finishing this process you'll see larger Google chrome icon in your metro screen.
If you click on it, Google chrome will launch without flipping back to desktop mode.

Google’s first foray into Metro on Windows 8, so things will likely change before a Stable build arrives. One thing that’s probably not going to change is the UI: it’s a safe bet that Google will do their best to keep Chrome looking the same across all the platforms it runs on.
To test Google Chrome for Metro, you’ll need to install the latest Dev Channel build. Set it as your default browser on the chrome:settings page, and Windows 8 will prompt you to confirm that you want a new program to handle web links instead of IE10.
Once that operation completes, your Metro Start Screen will feature a slightly larger Chrome icon and the browser will launch without flipping back to desktop mode. Don’t worry — you can still run Chrome on the desktop if you prefer.
Dear,
There is no major change in Google Chrome in its new Metro version. The core source code is same in the newer version.
It has same interface as the desktop version except the full-screen user interface and metro snap feature for using it with another Metro
applications in side-by-side configuration. The charms is integrated into Metro version by which you can use charm options by
hovering mouse in the corners of the screen. There is no much performance improvement compared with previous versions.
Thanks!
