Window 7 showing files saved into desktop on picture library

When I save anything into the desktop of my PC running on Windows 7, they are shown inside the picture library. The files will transfer to recycle bin when I delete them. But, it will get back to the ‘Picture’ folder again on clicking the ‘Restore’ button. In what way can I prevent this?

    Hello !!

it is not clear from your statement that what you are actually trying to do.
we got what you are trying to say,but didn't get what you want to do.
this happens in normal case that after deleting the files it goes to recycle bin and then after restoring it again it went to its original location where it was earlier.

what i think is that you don't want your desktop pictures to be in your library.
so do the following things :-

    1. go to my computer.
    2. go under C:\\
    3. select >> user folder
    4. select the user name (folder) in whose account you are presently logged in.
    5. now you will see library folder >> go inside it
    6. under this you will see >> desktop folder.
    7. just cut the folder.
    8. and come back and paste the folder here.

now when you place anything on desktop it won't go to library.

hope i am clear to you.

You can change the location of the folders my pictures, my music, etc. Follow the below steps and check-
    a. Go to the location C:\Users\ (user name).
    b. Now right click the folder whose location you want to change like my pictures, my music, etc.
    c. Now click on the location tab and change the location under the heading “you can change where files in this folder are stored to another place on this hard drive, another driver or another computer on the network”.
    d. Now click Apply and Ok.
