Windows 7 computer shows two Operating system in Boot Menu

I have recently installed windows 7 ultimate through bootable pen drive in drive E. It would be important to inform you that windows 7 Home Basic was already installed in my computer in drive C. Now there was no need of windows 7 Home Basic so i deleted that partition. Now when I restart my computer it shows two Operating Systems i.e windows 7 Ultimate and windows 7 Home Basic. Windows 7 Ultimate works fine but when I click on windows 7 Home Basic, it ask me to either perform a repair or install a windows 7. First of all I tried to solve this issue but it was difficult to solve so I formatted both of these partition and installed a fresh copy of windows 7 from DVD. Everything is working fine but it still shows the same message at boot screen. Is there any way to solve this issue?

Re: Windows 7 computer shows two Operating system in Boot Menu

It is not actually an issue. So many users face this problem. Many users delete the partiton which is not a solution. The OS option will still appear in your boot menu. To remove one OS from the boot menu, you can use either third party software or an easy and inbuilt method of windows 7. I am discussing the easiest method.Just follow the below given steps to solve this issue:
    • Open Run command by Pressing Windows key +R

    • Now you will see Microsoft Configuration window as shown below:

    • Now click on Boot Tab.You will see a list of Option which appears on your Boot Menu. The screenshot is given below:
    • Just select the Windows OS to remove and click on remove button.Your problem will be solved.
